Ms. Göksu is a partner of our firm. Ms. Göksu received her master’s degree from University of Cambridge where she specialized in corporate law, graduated with first class honours and awarded with Magdalane College Prize and Harol Philip Bundy award based on her academic performance. Before that Ms. Göksu was at University of Oxford where she completed her first master’s degree (Magister Juris, equivalent to LLM) and graduated with distinction. During this degree, her main focus area was international dispute settlement, commercial and investment arbitration. She received her LLB from Bilkent University with first class honours and as a salutatorian.
Her practice mainly focuses on international commercial arbitration, corporate law and transactions. Ms. Göksu represented private clients and States both before courts and arbitral institutions for disputes governed by various substantive laws and conducted under ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, LCIA, ISTAC and ITOTAM. She is advising clients in high-stakes and complex disputes including investment protection, shareholder, JV, distribution, M&A and post M&A and general contractual and commercial disputes and damage analysis. The industries Ms. Göksu has a special experience is private equity, sports&entertainment, media, telecommunications, manufacturing, maritime transportation, energy, natural resources, real estate, construction,and project finance.
